Still Strong

time worn petals
do not detract
from her stellar vibrancy

tripping on color
the flowers
mosh

one more
joyful shout
of spring

it burst into being
and brought me
with it

exaltation
of summer’s
many tiny joys

tiny
stop sign
go, go, goes

Joy arrives
as color.

Shinning yellow
beacon of summer
buttercup is a kiss from the sun

Marigold is the sun’s bride,
the guardian of goodness
at the garden’s gate.
