blooming through
the ferocious winter
beauty’s tenacity

between the frosts
a final bloom
tenacity of beauty

perched atop
the shifting edge of shale
beauty’s daring

a seed landed
a root took hold
granite grows a tree

spun of dreams
the web weaves
night to day

The tenacity of beauty
rebuilds my hope.

Through storms and bright blue bitter cold
tenacity holds the leaf to the stem.
