is the stitch
that repairs the spider’s web

spun of dreams
the web weaves
night to day

The geranium wears
spider web lace
with rain drop diamonds.

Tender hearts bear their leafy souls
to the sun and the weather of the day
as the wind chime cheers them on
and a spider’s web holds them up.
