Time Is A Painter

between the blues
of sky and water
autumn commences coloring

there is one heart
I wish to make sing
the one with the artfully painted wings

luminosity
of clouds
a hint of Parrish blue

autumn is an impressionist
embuing everything
with the emotion of light

deep in the woods
in the small brook
his paint brush paints

living
in a work
of art

Cold paints a picture in tans and greys and white.
Wind is the painter’s muse.
