a teasing start to the day
with the fog and the sun’s
slow reveal of the horizon
Lifting The Curtain
Dawning
traveling with the morning light
the mountain revealed through the trees
then the pond shrugs off her shawl of pink mist
so tenderly begins this day
Orchestra Of Colors
lily’s song of joy
resounding in the misty morn
pink overture to a summer’s day
Prayers At The Marsh
may the heron bless me with a sighting
may the mist rise and grant me clarity
may the water’s reflection give me a second chance to see
Monkshood
at the meadow monastery
frugal simplicity reveals
extravagant complexities
Morning Dew
I can almost see time
accumulating
in the blades of grass
Fairy Napkins
found in the morning lawn
the fairy napkins left behind
evidence of their starlight soiree
Morning Seats
we watch the day rise
and let the shadows lengthen
time is abundant among us
We Share The Morning
the sun just up
bird song breaks the night’s silence
a shared glance as we each go about our ways
Openings
between the heron and the house
morning wanders across the meadow
charming the new day
At The Edge Of A New Day I Wonder
what spirits reside
in that rising mist
what will they teach today?
The Tender Morning Blooms
now winter’s hardships
seem worthwhile
for they have brought us here
Spring Morning
a gentle lavender call
to greet day
stirs the river
Jane’s House
elegant in white
morning mist and magnolias
shroud your sanctuary
My Morning Moon
your appearance
in the tenderly colored sky
a blessing for the day
Sparkle
morning light
on last night’s
weightless accumulation
This Morning Didn’t Rise
some winter days
never seem to wake
they dream through to the next night
Morning Accessorized
the overnight rain
then plummeting degrees
made for us a string of pearls
Narnia
morning opened
to the enchanted world
where Aslan might call upon us
It Has Been And So I Believe
morning always comes
trust in that
is my nightlight
Early Winter Abstraction
morning’s bright sun
has turned the roof ice to lace
the still colorful world peeks through
Combinations
this morning held everything
each possible
presence and absence
First Look
the eye
of the day
peers over the ridge line
Rise
morning opens my eyes
my heart longs to embrace
the soul of this day
Spectacle Of The New Day
morning rose
the sky
in full bloom
Mist Rise
each valley releases
last night’s cold
into the new day
With Dawn
morning
crosses the meadow
on misty mysterious feet
Orbs Enchantment
a ray of morning light
makes magic
of the dew on dill
Inside The Moment
the peacefulness of morning
lingers like
dewdrops on a leaf
On The Cusp Of A New Day
taking in
the morning
reverie in the meadow
