a light
without light
is how memory is made
What The Lantern Occasioned
Oh To Be
full of light
and flourishing
in the dead of winter
Skillful Play
they know to slow and cross single file
then resume full tilt running
on the other side
For The Storm Weary
daylight
makes some candles
just in case
The Light Like A Kiss Goodbye
sneaking in
beneath the storm
a caress of light and warmth
In An Instant
a single ray of light
splits the darkness open
an entrance for possibilities
The Space Between Moments
some sunsets
hold a part
of everything

Happy Holidays!
Warmed By The Sight
lingering
red leaves
flickering like flames
Sharp Edges
in the hour
before dusk
light becomes a paintbrush
The Request
the way the light
was dancing in the woods
it was an invitation to enter
Cattail Cotton Candy
sweet stuff
spun out of
light and life
Summer Will Not Be Forgotten
a final
brilliant bloom
burned into memory
Harmony
narrative of a perfect afternoon
written by the four parallels of
lines, light, water, rock
Steadfast
while garden beds are sleeping
there’s you blooming
in grand abundance
Seeking Unification
here’s the gold
searching
for its rainbow
Fall Bids Us To
wake up and embrace
the glorious beauty
of every fleeting moment
A New Way Of Being
brittle and brown
a mirror
for light
Like Honey
luminous autumn light
sticks to every
leaf and twig
Ebb Tide In The Meadow
color and light slowly recede
part of the insistent
if distant pull of winter
Sunshine’s Sunshine
namesake
the goddess
of energy and light
Venetian Blinds
shade
is drawn
by leaves
Call Of The Dappled Path
traverse the shadows
and the light
go greet the unknown
Fall’s Shift Of Light
every contrast more potent
the color wheel
gaining speed
Times Of Stark Relief
the light
of a certain kind
of sunflower night
Innocence
the look of wonder
delicate hooves stepping
out of shadow into light
Lace On The Water
when light
is thread
flowers are doilies
Orbs Enchantment
a ray of morning light
makes magic
of the dew on dill
Full Sun
the meadow
bleached by light
wild blooms carry on
Could It Be
the details
on the butterfly’s wing
cast light instead of shadows
The Timelessness of Koi
eternity knows
only
shadow and light
