impressionism – Leaf And Twig

The Garden Impression

each bloom
its own
bold brush stroke

autumn is an impressionist
embuing everything
with the emotion of light

I fly in your sky
and swim in
your ocean of blue

sweet
the sight
of maples budding

winter’s
daydream
has arrived

the world
was illuminated
through an art glass sky

watching you
stillness settles into me
as the universe unfolds

the changing light
the passage of the season
painted on the canvas of the pond

Dreams take shape slowly
emerging from soft surroundings
an impression forms, staking claim on hope.

Sunlight transforms the creek
into the undulating underbelly
of a speckled trout.

Still life of a winter’s day.

In a hard rain
the autumn colors blur
into an impressionistic painting.
