the more my view expands
and resonates with memories

an internal expansion
that commands glorious opening

pause and let
time expand into
beauty’s forever unfolding

divine sky
heaven visits
for the afternoon

to see
what flowers see
the expanding harmonies

as the marsh
whispered her secrets
the water spun light into gold

every leaf bud revels
in the space
reserved for their expansion

petals open
to sun and sky
peony sighs
