On The Porch

in the peacefulness
it is possible
to dream as big as the sky

shoal
of red octopi
floating in the rosebush

a dreamy world
with snowflakes
slowly swirling

dawn reveals
the frosted woods
a lingering sugerplum dream

winter’s
daydream
has arrived

inside
a house of colors
bee’s dream

pink bird flew
across the sky
showing me how to dream

to be a moon
in the bright blue sky
a cloud’s dream realized

the bud holds tight
to blossom
is still a dream

Standing alone I saw a blue moon.
So I held onto my prayer and the dream in my heart
and both were answered in your ring of gold.
