the pink called me close
the buzz and hum beckoned
come witness the bee’s congregation

quiet fell
the garden hushed
enters into camaraderie with solitude

every leaf a prayer
at the steeple
of the felled tree

the congregation
of monarchs
billows away

crabapple
congregants
commune

like dandelion wishes
snow flies and floats
congregating in expectation

they gathered at the fence
soon to be
flowers in the field

A flock of blossoms
perch on the garden fence.
