the space to release worries

the landscape

slow deep breath
long light sigh
again then again

soft
and slowly
calm descends

amidst the world’s
noise and confusion
aster blooms in profusion

corners are for bustle
curves and bends
are where I like to wander

uncertainty embraced
calm ensues
amidst chaos

across the lake
the mountains rise
beneath puffed clouds
sweet sighs the sky

calm can be found
even inside the storm

the new day is hushed
quieted by white
a calm dawn

so still the brook.
Look deep into the water
and see heaven.
