be like a bee
close enough to see
pink transformed to red
Within The Spiral
The Thrumming Azelea
the pink called me close
the buzz and hum beckoned
come witness the bee’s congregation
Purpose Driven Life
unsung, they hum
these workers who so diligently
uphold the world
Essential Worker
the bee’s
skilled labor
precise and diligent
Fuzzy Bloom
you there
as soft
as a bee
Intimates
sweet nothings
the bee whispers
to the hollyhock’s bloom
Work
to bee
unobtrusive
in the beauty
Sweetness
in the meadow’s expanse
like a bee
I seek intimacy with clover
Opposites Attract
soft fuzzy bee
atop
the prickly coneflower
Althea
a bit of a strumpet
flaunting her trumpet
enticing hummingbirds and bees
Final Harvest
a singular hum
of work being done
Circle Of Life
every ending
ushers in
the next beginning
I Wanna Be A Bee
or perhaps a hummingbird
I’m a moth
with aspirations
Wake
morning comes
to the dahlia sun
rousing the sleeping bee
Bee At Work
in the duty
of labor lies
the virtue of purpose
Be As You Are
succor at the source
given and given
we are entwined by need
Garden Party
plants and insects
celebrate
the first of summer’s days
The Gardener
his work
is his vocation
the duty of pollination
Work Attire
soft as down
the bumblebee’s coat
silken fur of black and yellow
Passerby
blossoming branch
bright blue sky
busy bee passing by
Paradise
bee’s nirvana
a pollen utopia
found in October
Dahlia with Bee
vibrant yellow center
pink blushed petals
a bee’s cafe
Harvest
one petal at a time
in the soft September sun
the bee labors in love
Without a Sound
Quietly peace comes
spreading through actions
like the pollen on the bee.
Foraging
Her pollen baskets full
the bumblebee takes her rest
and sips her fill of sweet nectar
Procreation
Five petals await
a most esteemed visitor –
the bee, prince of pollination.
Cosmic Orange Cosmo
you make his fuzzy jacket pale in comparison
to your explosion of color.
