  1. derrickjknight – UK – I am an octogenarian enjoying rambling physically and photographing what I see, and rambling in my head as memories are triggered. I also ramble through a lifetime's photographs. In these later years much rambling is done in a car.

  3. Thank you for these sublime icey images. I miss real winter. the warming clime is evident here, in the 20 years I’ve lived in Maryland. less and less ice and snow, and I crave the cold weather! yet everyone around me cheers for warmer days. ;-(

  4. sherijkennedyriverside – North Bend, WA USA – Left brain, right brain, I can't decide. After many years of successful visual arts pursuits, I'm working on my other creative inclinations. For the past 8 years, writing has been my second full time job, and it's worth every sleepless night. Sheri J. Kennedy grew up mostly a city-girl coasthopping from Seattle to rural Pennsylvania, Miami and back to Seattle. She currently resides on the banks of the Snoqualmie River in the scenic Cascade Mountains. Her heart has found its home.

When I first clicked to the page this gave the illusion of a mountainside with trees and land near the bottom and a huge ice shelf hanging above. Beautiful abstraction!
