  1. derrickjknight – UK – I am an octogenarian enjoying rambling physically and photographing what I see, and rambling in my head as memories are triggered. I also ramble through a lifetime's photographs. In these later years much rambling is done in a car.

  3. bipolarsojourner – seattle area – i have struggled with episodic depression for years. i then received a diagnosis of being bipolar, only to find out i didn’t. ends up my psychiatrist really meant to say that multiple bouts of depression are often best treated like bipolar. i had already started this blog as bipolar sojourner and didn't want to switch it over. i am documenting my journeys through my depression jungle.

woa, and does basis astronomy, too. without a star map, i can get the sun, moon, the little and big dipper, orion’s belt and sometimes mars.

  4. Bill Bisgood – Wales – An optimistic opsimath, I'm enjoying rediscovering poetry and prose, hoping being older will not lend too much gravitas to life. I'm a recovering psychotherapist, one time detective, long term husband, fisherman, baker, gardener, long walker, dad and grandad. On a few of heady occasions I was a character consultant for ‘The Bill', 'Casualty' and for a Welsh language film drama. Photography, a Nikon D7200, fills a few creative gaps.

Fine photograph and verse. Thank you for sharing 🌅

  5. moonminded – Five years have now passed since I started this blog - and I’ve posted 69 times, which is a pretty decent average for me. Although slow at times, my intention and effort have been steady and I’m in quite a different space altogether from when I started this blog and I’m winding it down for now. If you want to do anything - go for it. Be patient with it, but totally go for it!

Wow and wow. This was cropped to a rectangle of blue on my feed and I had to open it out of curiosity. Very cool capture.

  6. rugby843 – Wyoming – I am twelve years a widow and live by myself in a small apartment. I use a wheelchair to get around, but I wouldn't consider myself disabled. I'm nine years away from having bladder cancer resulting in a urostomy and I'm doing well. I just had my yearly checkup and am in good health. This cancer was a result of having radiation in 1995 because of uterine cancer. So have faith in yourself, a cancer diagnosis is not a death sentence. My first try at blogging was an attempt to help other people with my condition. I am a mother of three married children, and a grandmother to eight gorgeous kids, featuring them often here, and a great grandmother too. I enjoy exploring my feelings and like to try the challenges. I like humor, music, movies, games, and some sports. I absolutely appreciate your reading and commenting on my blog. I am happy to read all of your blogs and learn more about you. Please comment however you like, ask whatever, and I'll answer honestly. Thanks for reading! Cheryl

  7. Cynthia Guenther Richardson – Pacific NW – Hello fellow readers and bloggers, Writing has always been a powerful connector to diverse ideas and people. We each are a meaningful part of this beautiful, ever-widening web of life. Blogging enables more interaction, which I love even after 11 years of blogging posts on three different sites. For thirty years I was an addictions/mental health counselor and also a manager of home care services for elderly folks. Now that I have hit 70 and am more devoted to a creative life! I've published online or in literary journals/collections several times, including fiction and creative non-fiction pieces and poetry over five decades. Additionally, I was nominated for a Pushcart Prize for an excerpt of my novel-in-progress, Other than Words (the work gathering dust at present), about a mute dancer and her impact on her adopted community and a world-travelling photojournalist. I also am working on a connected set of stories about a close-knit town in northern Michigan. On Wordpress I enjoy writing about living richly despite (or because of) life's setbacks and a diagnosis of heart disease at age 51. Posts tagged "memoir" share spiritual adventures, interactions with nature, the healing of trauma's impact and challenges of writing full-time. Short stories and creative nonfiction, and poetry are favorite genres but I enjoy sharing my photography as well My hope is my offerings reflect a profound faith in God and our humanness which cloaks spiritual natures. I include myself as part of the diverse group of writers who discover and share the illuminating, positive experiences amid life's uncertainties and hardships. Let me hear from you when you visit--I appreciate your comments a great deal. Blessings and regards, Cynthia
