  1. Tom's Nature-up-close Photography and Mindfulness Blog – My Blog primarily consists of close-up nature photos (that I've taken locally) combined with original holistic-truth oriented prose and/or poetry involving mindfulness/awareness. I love nature and I love understanding the whole (not merely the parts and the details). I'm a retired teacher of the multiply handicapped. I have a number of interesting hobbies, such as fossil collecting, sport-kite flying, 3D and 2D close-up photography, holography, and pets. Most of all, I am into holistic self-awareness, spontaneous insight, unconventional observation/direct perception, mindfulness, meditation, world peace, non-fragmentation, population control, vegetarianism, and green energy. Stay mindful, understanding, and caring!...

    Very well said! 🙂

  2. ericbarnett2015 – I'm finally embracing the joy I find in writing. Poetry is one way I love to express what I feel and see. I especially love discovering humor in my encounters or surroundings.

Amazing how many times one finds these types of twin images in nature.

  3. beautiful photo. “bookend time”….wow, is your mind always thinking these kinds of thoughts? Must be. I’m happy with having just one of your thoughts expressed to me on a daily basis 🙂

  4. derrickjknight – UK – I am an octogenarian enjoying rambling physically and photographing what I see, and rambling in my head as memories are triggered. I also ramble through a lifetime's photographs. In these later years much rambling is done in a car.

I do enjoy reflections. This is a good shot of one

    Beautiful reflections!

  6. sued51 – Welcome visitors! I am an editor and poet who decided to start a blog as one way of keeping myself busy and writing while I was unemployed. I have also been keeping journals for over 35 years (my closet is FULL!). I have many interests, which is why I blog about so many different things. I hope you find some posts here that interest you!

    Lovely!

  7. Rene Yoshi – Just a transplanted Okinawan-French Southern girl with a wee bit o' Irish, sharing photography and what I'm learning about spiritual things, including putting off legalism and religious traditions, and embracing God's matchless love, tender mercy, and amazing grace!
    Rene Yoshi says:

    So imaginative and cool!

  8. reocochran – I am experiencing crazy and hapless adventures in dating that may interest people over fifty. I am now 65 this year (2017) and enjoy taking photographs, incorporating stories or poetry on my blog. I have many old posts which are informative and written like essays. I have several love stories collected from family and friends. Even strangers spill their stories, since I am a grown version of the girl next door. I have been trying to live a healthy lifestyle with better food selections and active hiking and walking. I have written four children's books and illustrated them. They are not published but a battered women's shelter used one about neglect and abuse for their children's program and a 4H group used my "Kissing a Bunny is like saying a Prayer" as a coloring book. Please comment or respond so I may get a chance to know you. Sincerely, Robin

The comparison to bookends is such a special way of describing this lovely scenery!
