  1. derrickjknight – UK – I am an octogenarian enjoying rambling physically and photographing what I see, and rambling in my head as memories are triggered. I also ramble through a lifetime's photographs. In these later years much rambling is done in a car.

  4. A unique perspective, seeing through the lens of an old window. Our house is just shy of 100 years with wavy windows that have a slight tint of green in them. I will be thinking of your lovely words as I gaze out of them later.

  6. laflor5233 – California – I'm not an expert at anything, I am an ordinary person that loves to sew, quilt,( my way), and do many crafts. I spend time with my 4 grandkids and I find time to read, as well. I recently retired as a Library Technician and am enjoying my free time.
    laflor5233 says:

    Thoughtful words.

  7. MichelleWritesPoems – Hey! I am a newly-minted poetry blogger from the Midwest (recently relocated to New England) who also enjoys running, photography, cooking, reading, and spending as much time as possible with family and friends. Thanks for stopping by!

  8. 2ndhalfolife – In the second (or really third?) half of my life now. Moving into the more crone stage: out of my head, into my soul. My magic is returning after many years of having lost it to the streets of life. There have been some very dark times, but these have made my journey rich with the stuff of possibility. Because out of darkness has come the glittering beauty of illumination. It has come with struggle and toil, and not without help--but I am here, and I am mostly in tact, and I'm here to share the rest of this journey with you all if you care to join me.......
    2ndhalfolife says:

    Nice.

  9. pastorpete51 – My wife and I serve as members of a worship team at a multicultural church. Our members are from Brazil, Nepal and the U.S.. Because of the many languages and cultures in our local body we face unique challenges, such as how many songs will we do in English today? What new songs can we use in either language that are simple enough for the people to sing. The songs, the devotions and insights here are a small portion of some of the ways God is leading us as we push towards the goal. I pray that these will be both a blessing and an encouragement for those of you who may pass by Praise 2 Worship.

I love reflections. They always remind me of Monet’s paintings. Beautiful!

  10. CloudFairy61 – I am living in the greater Boston area & enjoy my lovely surroundings! I am what they call a \"swamp Yankee\"!!! – I am a mom, writer, bookworm, nature-lover, tree-hugger, ponderer, flag-waver, and lover of learning! I enjoy my life right now, in the moment! At age 76, I finally know who I am!

  11. This is lovely, like looking into a pool of water. You don’t see a lot of old windows anymore, everyone replaces them. Makes yours pretty special! 🙂

  12. Shards Of DuBois – I look at the world through stained glass glasses, seeing every color as needed on this palette I call a journey. Our Almighty Father made our world incredibly beautiful, I will attempt to honor Him in all I do and say, and may He Bless you ALL.
    Shards Of DuBois says:

very cool shot, and perfect words with it! 🙂

  13. judybarton – Still in love, complicated, almost stupid, interested to recognize herself. "Up to the age of eighteen years old everybody writes poems; after, only two categories of people may continue to do it: poets and idiots." (Benedetto Croce). Obviously I do not consider myself a poet.
    judybarton says:

Yes: “The picture perfectly suits your lines.”. Very nice!

  14. Pat – I'm a retired educator and avid amateur photographer. I live in southern Ohio with my wonderful husband and two delightful cats.
    Pat says:

    Lovely.

  15. Michelle Ranee Harper – South Bend, Indiana – I believe that art is an expression of the soul. We were created to be creators ourselves. Art helps to give life meaning and teaches us that beauty is important. I think we all need to take more time to appreciate beauty.
    Michelle Ranee Harper says:

Beautiful poem. I just keep rereading it. I love how these three simple lines can have such a deep and powerful meaning. Our conception of our present reality is inextricably shaped by the memories we have of past conceptions.

  16. firefly1275 – Louisiana – V. Rose enjoys creating mystical characters and worlds, with a touch of the modern day world. When she is not writing or thinking up her next story ideas, she is enjoying South Louisiana sunsets.
    firefly1275 says:

    Very nice and beautiful!

  17. Ian Hamlin – Marlborough Sounds, New Zealand – I've been a full time painter of light for 40 years - self taught and independent, a former President of the NZ Academy of Fine Arts. I'm into sustainability, planting trees and spiritual ecology. This includes growing award winning Lavender oil and olive oil. I'm a student of the Diamond Approach; a psycho-spiritual path to realizing and developing our fullest potential
    Ian Hamlin says:

Beautiful words and image….I’m getting list in them
