  5. Morgan – Pennsylvania – Cynthia A. Morgan is an award-winning author; free-lance columnist, blogger, poet and up-and-coming podcaster. Currently working with GoldenNetwork.TV in a project that will make her dystopian fantasy Mercy Series and her young adult fantasy Dark Fey Trilogy available globally via ROKU, Morgan’s captivating tales serve as a backdrop for powerful messages like ‘show thankfulness through kindness and appreciate blessings through generosity’ and ‘the only way to achieve peace is by becoming peace’. . Morgan is also the creator of the popular blogs Booknvolume and Word Mongery and Musings where over 18,000 followers regularly explore Morgan’s own brand of poetry, musings about life, photography, book reviews and more. Upcoming projects include a fictional drama in Regency Period England, a non-fiction exploration of the supernatural/paranormal and beliefs around the world, and a return to the realms of Dark Fey in a mind-bending prequel. . When asked how she feels about writing, Morgan has said: “To write; to paint with words as an artist bedecks his canvas with hues and shades and layers of pigmentation; to sing a melody upon which the gaze may linger and over which the heart may muse again and again: to create visual splendor with grammar and language is the most beguiling form of intoxication in which I could ever take pleasure.” .

  8. 2ndhalfolife – In the second (or really third?) half of my life now. Moving into the more crone stage: out of my head, into my soul. My magic is returning after many years of having lost it to the streets of life. There have been some very dark times, but these have made my journey rich with the stuff of possibility. Because out of darkness has come the glittering beauty of illumination. It has come with struggle and toil, and not without help--but I am here, and I am mostly in tact, and I'm here to share the rest of this journey with you all if you care to join me.......

    Wonderful….but I still want green 🙂

  9. djsn333 – I love painting. I love paintings, periods of art history, and the stories of many painters. I paint from my heart. At times my heart has a goal in mind, other times it wants to play or explore a method. Sometimes it wants to paint something that is inspired by another painting that I am drawn to. Each painting is an experience. It’s a rare occasion that I know where it is headed. On this blog I’ve included, and will continue to include, paintings I’ve done. If you are fond of them please search for ‘jDustin’ on ebay or leave a message with a means of contacting you. I am open to ‘risk-free’ commission work. By that I mean I am open to painting something upon request (based on a photo, sitting or vague idea,) with the agreement that what I produce will only be purchased upon completion if my client is pleased with the outcome. Thank you for stopping by! Jason

  11. The vine slakes its thirst in the dark earth. In the light where all is seen, it turns itself to the sun: relentlessly. If a vine can do this, so, in my overwhelming troubles, so can I. Phyllis.

  12. Dr. Denny Wilkins – Dr. Denny Wilkins professes journalism at a small, private university in the Northeast. He has climbed, hiked, kayaked, photographed, skied, and otherwise meandered aimlessly throughout the American West for decades. He has degrees in geology, environmental studies, and communication — and has tried to make use of them as a co-founder of the progressive cultural blog ScholarsandRogues.com. He’s broadly interested in how the world works and why it works that way. He hates writing, although he does like having written well.
