Somehow the enigmatic crow in your photo conjures up all the mysteries and magic and from their vantage point high up in the trees the first to “know” ….green she is coming ….surely
Crows are said to be a sign of good luck and they are apparently much more aware of their surroundings then most politicians. We have lots of crows around here, we actually saved one young crow from baling twine wrapped around its leg which and caught up in its nest. I think he or she is still around.
I’m running out of ways to say “wow”!
🙂
Great capture and wonderful words. The crow looks like one of those metal decorations that are all the rage in gift shops of late! 🙂
I adore crows. They are so amusing to watch. I even find them funny when they screech ‘caw, caw, caw’ at 5.00 am! Lovely picture.

Crow’s patience is contagious. Thank you! I, too, am waiting! 🙂
Green will soon appear for all who have had a long winter.
Your verse made me smile as today I watched them gather moss .
