I’m running out of ways to say “wow”!

  2. Great capture and wonderful words. The crow looks like one of those metal decorations that are all the rage in gift shops of late! 🙂

  3. I adore crows. They are so amusing to watch. I even find them funny when they screech ‘caw, caw, caw’ at 5.00 am! Lovely picture.

  4. Somehow the enigmatic crow in your photo conjures up all the mysteries and magic and from their vantage point high up in the trees the first to “know” ….green she is coming ….surely

  8. Marci – Having first retired from social work in 2008, I've now had time to work through seasons of all play, and seasons of part-time work, while I figured out how best to make use of my "golden" years. The internet provides so much assistance in finding unlimited ideas related to finances, hobbies, travel and staying healthy, but I soon found my passion in quilting. The vast array of techniques have resulted in seeing inspiration everywhere, and practice is always rewarded with improved skills. Of course, grandchildren and family still get priority, but I see this as a pursuit that will remain interesting into my old age.

Much as I anticipate your posts. Thanks!

  11. leefeller – As a Vietnam Veteran, I did not want to get drafted so I joined the Marine Corps. Which may not have been a smart idea? Since I could not afford bone spurs, I spent 13 months in Nam, and wondered why we where even there? So when I came home and was so happy not to see everyone carrying weapons, I became interested in politics and am now a political junkie.
    leefeller says:

Crows are said to be a sign of good luck and they are apparently much more aware of their surroundings then most politicians. We have lots of crows around here, we actually saved one young crow from baling twine wrapped around its leg which and caught up in its nest. I think he or she is still around.
