His work has also been published online as well as in several anthologies. Originally from London, he spent a few years in Spain before a quirk of fate brought him back to live in an English seaside town. He now spends his time gathering storylines washed in by the sea.

I so enjoy each of your posts, and this one made me laugh out loud! Very, very creative, I am going to milk this one for all it is worth. You make a positive difference in this world, m’dear–thank you!

  5. wildsherkin – Sherkin Island, Co Cork, Ireland – I like to make things, and I don't always have time and space to do that. Sherkin Island is a tiny island off the south west coast of Cork. It's one of the Carbery One Hundred Isles in Roaring Water Bay, just a ten minute ferry ride from Baltimore in West Cork yet a million miles away from my day job.

    Very clever!

  6. LB – I'm a woman who loves spending time on the motorcycle and in, or on, any body of water. I love traveling and reading, baking and cooking, taking way too many pictures, and enjoying my family and friends. Life is an adventure, and I want to remember and express my joy for it! This is a journal for me ... so I'll never forget the good times and to remind me of them on more challenging days.

    Makes me smile!

  7. babogbeag – For now over 60 years I have been collecting national costume dolls and this blog is a way for me to learn about my dolls and share any knowledge I have gleaned about the cultures behind the sartorial. I look forward to any comments or corrections as this is the fun of doing a blog. However, I am rather busy in the real world so I may be a little slow in getting back to you. If you want an overview of the site, see the blog >>Summary and explanation<<. To find a particular country or region, etc. look in the categories. At the moment, I am writing a glossary for the site to add information about specific types of clothing, other accessories and particular types of dolls - this will take me a long time to finish, so please bear with me.

    clever holsteins

  8. milkhousestudio – After several years living in a couple of big cities, I'm finally planting my two feet on rural Wisconsin ground with a farmer, his dog, several cattle and a milkhouse I can call my own. That milkhouse is my inspiration, a place where I can cut loose, get messy, throw away my graphic design background and explore printmaking, drawing and painting on absolutely my own terms.
    milkhousestudio says:

Nicely done! As my husband would say, “we need more cow patterns”. (The play on words is the perfect compliment to the image!)
