fallen to its resting place
the branch still possesses
the spirit of movement

Ooooh! I seriously love old gnarled wood, especially when it’s fallen and you see that nature has taken over nature. So beautiful! I loved seeing this as my first picture in the morning. Thank you!

On the one hand, this looks remarkably like flowing lava. On the other, it looks remarkably like my fudge used to look when I was still learning to make it, and it would set up too quickly!
Thank you. I have ALS and less perceived movement everyday. What a beautiful reminder that growth is movement. Wow. May I put this entry on my blog and use it for a post? With a direct link to your Blog of course?! It would be an honor! twe

I live the words, the image and the sentiment. Perfect. 🙂
Flowing is a lovely way to describe this photo.
This is an incredible photo. The piece if wood is so unique. A masterpiece of the creator.
Nice picture, great haiku

Beautiful picture. It’s surprising how just a piece of wood lying on the ground can sometimes look so lovely.

Tracey, yes! Of course. I’m so pleased the post was meaningful to you. Very Best, Seedbud.
Your poem expresses so well the combination of stillness and movement . Jane
Lovely!
Fantastic. I love photos like this, and have taken many of them in black and white film. Absolutely perfect.
Awesome! I love this. 😀
I love this shot, I can’t tell how many creatures are coming into being from that old piece of wood.
Inspiration to look at things differently, thank you.
I really like this and relate it to somethings I have been able to let go of in my own life.
This is terrific-I love the sculptural feel of the wood-a very lovely image-
Thought provoking to say the least. Perfect nature!
Beautiful but depressing …
Fantastic – poetry in apparent motion.
