  2. Janet Holt – Bald Head Island, NC – I am on a journey of discovery. One that involves discovering the world around me and discovering myself. I have found that using a camera is making this process of discovery much more enjoyable. I trust you will enjoy it as well. My passion for all animals knows no bounds, but it is the parrot that has caught my heart! I am now involved in a campaign to help bring parrots in the wild back into their normal existence! The Indonesian Parrot Project is first on my list, and with a little help from our friends we will bring the Abotti Cockatoo back into a full, strong life in their natural habitat.

  5. RMW – Culver City, Los Angeles, California, USA – I am an explorer and creative person. I've had many jobs, careers and interests... everything in life and the universe fascinates me. Born in Brighton, England, I've lived my entire adult life in Los Angeles, California. A few years ago I rediscovered photography which is a great excuse to get outside and look. I'm also in the process of re-writing some of my unpublished short stories and possibly a novel. .

    Nice

  6. Silver Seed Farms – Heralded by a gypsy-pioneer spirit, we (Rex, Lorian and baby) moved to the Missouri forest almost two decades ago. We lived in a tent for a while and built our straw bale and earthen homestead with our own hands and with the help of wonderful friends and family. Rex creates attractive landscape gardens and installs solar power, and we help others who want to tread a similar path. Lorian home schooled their two beautiful children, who have many of their own accomplishments and a lovely life. She is a mudder and is excited by the many facets of creativity and life. This solar guy and earthy girl tinker with alternative building methods, harness some of the power and heat of the Sun, and delve into natural, organic homesteading - always striving for balance and Ozark resourcefulness.
    Silver Seed Farms says:

Your photos are a lovely complement to your poetry. Much appreciation!

This is a journal for me ... so I'll never forget the good times and to remind me of them on more challenging days.

  10. words4jp – Updated 11.29.22: The bare bones bottom line of who I am is this: I am almost 58 years old, a mom who has two sons - one 27, the other almost 25. Who am I really? I am still contemplating.....always contemplating...........
    words4jp says:

    I love your words.

  11. Becky – I'm just a quiet person in a loud world! My passion in life is my God, my family, and my friends. I am deeply in love with my best friend, my husband. There is no place I would rather be, than with him. I am a mom, grandma, daughter, sister, and aunt. Inspired by the song "Blessings" by Laura Story, I have made a commitment in my life to find the "joy in the rain", and the "healing through the pain". Every day feels like Saturday to me, but I still take Saturday and Sunday off. I would love to have you join me on my journey as I search for the good things in life!
    Becky says:

Oh yes! That is absolutely beautiful! And the words are so true! Really, really nice.

  12. Rene Yoshi – Just a transplanted Okinawan-French Southern girl with a wee bit o' Irish, sharing photography and what I'm learning about spiritual things, including putting off legalism and religious traditions, and embracing God's matchless love, tender mercy, and amazing grace!
    Rene Yoshi says:

    Oh so dreamy!

  13. Michael Taggart Photography – You can only view so many wonderful amazing pictures on the web before you start becoming inspired to make your own. I started doing the photography for local theater companies and learned all the skills needed to get great pictures. From there I got the equipment for a portable studio and started asking people to be my models. It's exciting, nerve wracking, frustrating and wonderful to run your own shoot! I think even a wonderful model on a plain background makes for a boring picture so I started making my own backgrounds to go with the pictures. This led to composites where I'm cutting out the models and putting them into different scenes. This gives the picture a story, texture and history that makes it much more fun to look at. The process takes a lot more time but in the end the picture becomes art.
    Michael Taggart Photography says:

Wow! Silky warm picture : )

  16. Noeline Smith – A keen photographer with a ceaseless desire to improve and for whom the world is far too interesting a place to limit myself to one genre!
    Noeline Smith says:

  17. becky6259 – My daddy married a city girl and put her in the country, and then I married a city boy and he put me in the city...for awhile anyway. We're now living in small-town Mid-Missouri and enjoying the best of both worlds!
