  1. mrsjacoby19 – I'm a Shreveport Native. One of my life's love, is the love of writing poetry. I particularly like to write realistic poetry. Poetry that deals with everyday life. Poetry that dives into the emotions, as well as the psyche of a person. Some topics may include, love as it partains to, relationships. Whether that be, marital, co-habitating,parental, spiritual, etc. This is my passion and I embrace it whole heartedly.

  9. Catita Tx – I've always enjoyed writing and finally decided it was time to blog! As part of my profession I write every day, but I'm now trying to take the time to write creatively. My family and friends have been very encouraging as there is little that is written down in the way of a family chronicle. This is a favorite topic of mine! In addition to family history, I write about life, family, friends and faith. My husband is a full-time parent to our special needs daughter. I’ve explored this topic, too. I also enjoy music, crocheting, reading and relaxing with my family. I hope you enjoy what I have to offer!

Born in Brighton, England, I've lived my entire adult life in Los Angeles, California. A few years ago I rediscovered photography which is a great excuse to get outside and look. I'm also in the process of re-writing some of my unpublished short stories and possibly a novel. .

  15. Gretchen Del Rio – Crestline, California, USA – I first discovered the magic of water based colors when many years ago I began to paint with procion dyes on silk. I loved the unexpected quality of the process. It was so exciting to never be sure what the colors and water would combine to produce. It seemed as though the medium had its own passion. Painting with watercolors and paper is much the same. I love the color combinations and separations that occur spontaneously as the color floats on the water. You can never totally predict what effect will result. If you try to control the medium too much, your painting will be very tight losing its aliveness. The artist must be bold and decisive or the work will not be clear and fresh. It is really like a dance. It becomes a controlled folly in knowing when to let go and when to take charge of the direction that the painting is taking. The images that I paint reflect my emotions and are expression of my life experience. They are not extensively planned, but rather evolve as the painting progresses. I am always surprised by the end result since it comes into being because of what the medium and emotion has suggested. The paintings are from my heart and I always fall in love with the subject. I believe that we are all connected and, if an image touches you, it is because we all have the same heart even though our paths may be different. Most of all, painting what I paint makes me happy. The paintings are my own path unfolding. They are an opening door for me and contain my own passion for life.

  21. chrisstov – I have reached retirement age. I am a keen amateur photographer. I like walking and listening to classical and film music, also some popular and pop music from the 60s and 70s. I like reading and have recently discovered Kindle and lately the kindle fire.

  30. restlessjo – Hi! I’m Jo! Johanna when I’m feeling posh, Jan to my Dad, and Joasiu to my Polish family. A bit of a mix-up, that’s me. The one constant, however, is my restless nature. I love to travel and to explore our world. It doesn’t have to be the big wide world. I can be ridiculously happy not too far from home, so long as I’m seeking new horizons. Of course I have a wish list, and it was to help me fulfil my dreams that I started to write travel guides for a venture called Simonseeks. I’d always kept a travel diary, and it was hugely satisfying to share my experiences and to make new friends who shared my passion for travel. Alas, Simonseeks hit a few troubles, but I still find myself writing about my travels. I’ve become addicted. I’d love to share them, and to make more friends. So, it has to be a blog- right? Or do I mean- write?

She worked with autistic children in college and in graduate school. Ellen has Asperger's Syndrome and Bipolar Disorder herself and has written about her experiences of both and of learning to love. Margaret Lynette Sharp – Sydney, Australia – I studied Short Story Writing and Freelance Journalism for a total of five years when I was younger, but it's only lately that I've tried to make a go of it as a professional. I have written eleven books now, all published by Amazon Kindle, and most also published as paperbacks by Createspace and available on the Amazon web-site. Several Sydney libraries have copies of some volumes, and they are currently on loan.My books are all listed by Goodreads. The total number of ratings of my titles there is in excess of 80, with an average of 4.4 stars. I am happily married to Ronald Sharp, the creator of the Grand Organ in the Concert Hall of the Sydney Opera House. He has consistently encouraged me to write, and has spent much time in editing, compiling, and designing the covers of each book. I'm keen on swimming, love animals, and appreciate good music and art.
