  1. The photo is probably of a Tiger Swallowtail Butterfly and not of a Monarch. I like the colourful sharp photo though.

    1. Ah yes. You are right. I exercised a little creative license – to get at the “feel” of it.

  5. Nice photo. The butterfly indeed looks royal, but John is right–a monarch is an orange butterfly. The banner image on my blog is a monarch on a purple cone flower in my garden. Anyway, it is still an attractive image.
