  1. Mindless snow; confident bench; confused branches–
    Wondrously multi-layered image! I’m saving this one.

    The white background and transforming snowfield in front enhance the contrast between thick, right angled lines in the center and interlaced flowing ones above. To me the photograph is a striking reminder of the human presence in an uncontrollable world.

    As for the wind, it’s like you said, asleep (or perhaps frozen in the branches?)
