I have been too busy to look at your blog for so many months. I couldn’t resist the apple tree photo, though. I have just finished reading Restoration Agriculture, all about growing apple and other trees/plants in the understory of larger trees. That looks like an old tree that has been left alone and is thriving in the partial shade of those (birch?) trees. Evidence that it works! Thank you.
I love the contrasts you have in this picture: The black and white. The bushy and sparsely foliaged trees. The crown of ruby fruit. And your wonderful description
This is such a lovely composition and photo!
It is amazing and lovely to see!

Clearly, that is the tree from which the wicked witch picked the apple for Snow White!
Wonderful tree, – thank you.
Just wonderful (both the verse and the photo and the verse matches the photo ideally! such a nice description…)!

Fantastic shot and what a great crop of apples – they are huge on that old tree. Lovely harvest photo.
