Many moons ago, I used to have a clothes line like that one. Had to boil the clothes in a copper, rinse them by hand, then peg them on the line. Had to pray the prop didn’t snap letting the washing drag on the dirt.

I do love a clothesline. Hanging clothes was a favorite chore when I was young, but you can hang a lot of memories on a clothesline, too.
