I love it! The hollyhock is a favorite childhood memory of my mother’s flowers. My heart fills up with sweet memories of her. She must have loved the hollyhock. Flowers in our yard grew beautifully for her and the hollyhock stood out among the rest.
Beautiful. Hollyhocks were part of my childhood…….growing around the back door. I used to eat the buds. I’m quite sure that my mother never knew because, if she had, she would have feared my being poisoned. I survived and the holly hocks bloomed.
Lovely! thanks for sharing 🙂

So, in your North and my South, we are both enjoying beautiful blue skies. And pink flowers. Harmony 🙂

Beautiful image and fitting words, as always!
I love to see hollyhocks….. reminds me of the simple days of childhood.
Grandma made hollyhock dolls for me, with bright, flowing skirts.

What a wonderful sky!
That they do, indeed, very nicely said.
That is quite a picture. Especially when blown up on full screen and you can travel up and down the stem with the mouse.
Beautifully done, contrasted against that blue sky.
