I don’t think I’ve reblogged anything before (at least not on WordPress), but I’m an email subscriber to this blog and always look forward to my daily dose of calm reflections from Leaf and Twig. Beautiful images of nature and haiku-like poetry make for a moment gentle calm and joy every day. Today’s poem really spoke to me, so here it is.
I was born and raised in New England (in western Massachusetts) and spent two decades there as a journalist. I’ve been away from New England, save occasional visits to family, for more than 20 years.
Your elegantly evocative photographs only heighten the homesickness I feel for where I was born.
I’m so glad I can bring you a little touch of home. I moved east from California for the seasons many years ago and the beauty never ceases to amaze and inspire me.
Love it!
Nice one!

I just want to tell you I’m an email subscriber and look forward to your daily dose of calm reflections in my inbox.
Lovely, thanks for sharing all the beauty in words and images.
Thank you so much for sharing that – it really means a lot to me. And thank you also for your generous words and sharing me with your readers.
